as your photographer and now friend

I believe the best photography experience hinges on more than just the final images—it's about the journey we take together. Every client is unique, and I strive to provide a comfortable, collaborative environment from the initial consultation to the final delivery of your stunning photographs. My commitment to personalized service ensures that we understand your vision and preferences, allowing us to capture the essence of your moments with authenticity and care. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for perfection, I will work tirelessly to make every shoot not just a session, but a memorable event, filled with laughter and ease. My goal is for you to walk away not only with photos that you will cherish for a lifetime but also with the feeling that your experience was just as exceptional as the images themselves.

When should we book our photographer?

I suggest looking into booking your photographer as soon as you have your date figured out. Most couples book within three days of inquiring with me! I open my calendar 18 months in advance.

how long until we receive our finished gallery?

I share preview images and sometimes a small gallery in the days after your wedding. The full gallery of all images is typically ready in 9-10 weeks for weddings and 2-3 weeks for engagement photos. You’ll receive your photos through a link to your gallery for viewing, downloading, sharing and ordering prints.

does tax apply to your packages?

Yes! For all Washington residents I am required to charge a 6.5% WA sales tax. Any additional sales tax depends on your county of residence. King County for example is 10.25%.

what kind of camera equipment do you typically bring with you on a wedding day?

I shoot with two camera bodies and an array of lenses. I prefer prime lenses and joke that I have a built-in zoom (my legs haha). I do carry back up batteries, memory cards, lighting gear, etc. Here’s my entire kit if you’re interested in checking it out!

do you take breaks? if you require a meal break, are we required to provide the meal for you?

I do pack snacks to eat throughout the day to try and keep my energy up, but there is nothing better than a hot meal after a hard day of work! Wedding days that are 6+ hours will require a hot meal!

do we receive all of the raw files?

Oh lord no, you don't want that! I generally end up with around 2,000-5,000 images following a wedding. A good portion of them are unusable. It's my job to cull through these images and select the images that do the best job of cohesively telling your story.

do you have insurance?

Definitely! Most venues these days won't allow photographers to shoot there without insurance. It was one of the very first things I set up when creating my business!
