This couple recently had a beautiful wedding at The Corson Building in downtown Seattle, emphatically I was thrilled to have the opportunity to shoot at this venue. The Corson Building has a timeless and intimate atmosphere, with a lot of greenery. It’s truly a stunning place to capture special moments. One thing that stood out to me was the incredible food at this wedding. Indeed The Corson Building knows how to create delicious dishes that leave a lasting impression. It’s not just about the taste, but also the presentation and attention to detail that makes their food exceptional.

The florals by Little Joy Fleurs were perfect for the occasion. They added a touch of natural beauty and elegance to the wedding. The combination of greenery and flowers created a romantic and enchanting ambiance. I love to capture these timeless moments in beautiful and unique locations, and The Corson Building certainly fits the bill with its timeless charm.

I’m a documentary wedding photographer, therefore I strive to capture genuine and heartfelt moments without interfering or posing people too much. The photographs tell a story and evoke emotions rather than just being posed shots. For this wedding, I also used Portra 400 film. Film photography has a special quality to it that I love. It brings a certain warmth and nostalgia to the images, perfect for capturing the timeless nature of weddings.

My intimate, documentary style means I focus on capturing intimate moments, therefore observing connections between the couple and their loved ones is important to me. It’s about capturing the emotions and love that fill the atmosphere, this wedding was a perfect example of an intimate celebration, specifically with its cozy and heartfelt atmosphere. I feel grateful to have been a part of their special day at the Corson Building.
