Carkeek Park Engagement Session in Seattle, WA

One thing that I really love about shooting engagement sessions at Carkeek Park is the variety of backgrounds. We were able to get the backdrops of a wooded trail, a grassy area, and the beach! There is also the bridge and other areas around that you can incorporate. And with the changing tide, it’s like shooting at a new spot every time. When these two reached out to me, they let me know that they were worried about being awkward in front of the camera! To that, I say, no way! Most couples are worried about looking awkward in front of the camera. You are certainly not alone in that. I even freeze up in front of the camera and feel like I don’t know how to use my arms, haha. My job is to make sure you have some direction and feel comfortable!

Every couple is different. Some couples may need a lot of direction, while others may need no direction at all. I try my best to meet you where you’re at so that we can create photos that feel true to you!
