Discovery Park Engagement Session in Seattle, WA

When I say that I love Seattle parks, I LOVE Seattle parks! This Discovery Park engagement session is just another reminder of how lucky I feel to live in Seattle with access to these beautiful spots!

There aren’t many American cities that mesh nature and skyscrapers as well as Seattle does. We have no shortage of places to explore out here! After reading this blog, check out the list of my favorite Seattle locations. So many of my favorites are right here in the city!

I like to start on the bluff for Discovery Park engagement sessions and then hike down to the beach. We can hit low tide at sunset at the right time of year! That is a special kind of magic. It is best to schedule an Adventure Session to hit the entire park. These sessions are more extended and meant for locations that require some hiking.

If you’d like to do a shorter session at Discovery Park, plan to arrange a parking permit, and we can drive between locations! We parked at the South Parking lot for this session and hiked into the bluff. After hanging out there, we returned to the car and hit the beach!

The beach has many great spots with the lighthouse, forested trails, driftwood, and high grass. You could do an entire session there and not even miss the bluff!
