Carkeek Park Engagement Session: Capturing Love and Sunset Magic

The Perfect Start to Warm-Weather Sessions

There’s nothing quite like an engagement session on a warm day. This year’s warm sessions kicked off perfectly with a beautiful engagement at Carkeek Park. Known for its breathtaking sunset views, Carkeek Park offers one of the city’s most stunning backdrops. This makes it a favorite location for capturing your love stories.

Meeting S & P: A Delightful Experience

Meeting up with these two for their engagement photoshoot was an absolute delight. This couple has a special connection to Carkeek Park—they often visit to picnic together. Their familiarity with the park added an extra layer of intimacy and comfort to the session. I love it when couples choose locations that are unique and special to them.

Golden Hour Magic at Carkeek Park

As the golden hour approached, the park transformed into a picturesque setting. The way the sunlight kissed the trees and shimmered on the water was truly magical. S & P’s love for each other was palpable, and they were so sweet together. Their natural chemistry made it easy to capture genuine and heartfelt moments.

Turning a Photoshoot into a Memorable Date

One of my favorite parts of the session was seeing how they embraced the experience. After we wrapped up the shoot, they stayed and watched the rest of the sunset, enjoying a beer together. I loved to see them turn the photoshoot into a mini-date, taking my advice to savor the moment together.

Carkeek Park never disappoints. Every time I have a session there, it’s a great experience. The park’s beauty and the warmth of a sunset make it a perfect location for engagement sessions. I am already looking forward to my next session at Carkeek Park. I am eager to capture more love stories against its stunning sunset views.
