Capturing Precious Moments
I first met J and M when I had the honor of photographing their wedding. We hit it off immediately and became fast friends. Over the years, I have been privileged to document many significant moments in their lives. Specifically, I captured their engagement, beautiful wedding, and latest milestone – an in-home lifestyle family session with their first baby. It is, undoubtedly, a privilege to be part of these massive moments, especially for friends.
Our latest session was an in-home lifestyle family session. For this portrait session, we focused on capturing the essence of their daily life with their new addition. I headed to their house one sunny afternoon, ready to document the authentic moments that make up their everyday life.
In-home lifestyle sessions have a unique charm. They allow families to be in their natural environment, bringing genuine emotions and interactions. Firstly, we started the session in the baby’s room, a beautifully decorated space that reflected the joy and excitement of new parents. Then, we moved to their cozy living room. The room was filled with warmth and love as J and M doted on their little one. Here, I captured tender moments of J feeding their baby and M sweetly sitting by.
Next, we ventured outside to their backyard. The afternoon light was perfect, casting a soft glow over the scene. J and M’s backyard is a tranquil oasis, ideal for an in-home lifestyle family session. They played with their baby on a blanket, surrounded by the beauty of nature. These moments were incredibly heartwarming, showcasing family life’s simple yet profound joy.
Documenting these everyday moments during the in-home lifestyle family session was a reminder of why I love what I do.
