Driving to Bagley Lake Loop for this Mount Baker Engagement session was memorable. We spent time walking together and admiring the snow-covered landscape. I love that they were up for doing a session with the snow! It was cold, but the landscape looked like a winter wonderland. These two pushed through the freezing weather as it started to snow a little while we were there. I love that they embraced wearing their beanies and winter jackets for a cozier feel. It’s always important to consider whether your attire suits the weather and location when planning your engagement session!
Winter engagement sessions are a great shift from the norm, and I am always down to frolic in the snow together! One of the positives of getting a winter engagement session is that my schedule tends to be looser, so photo turnaround times are much shorter than in the summer!
I would love to do more Mount Baker engagement sessions! I know it’s a long drive from Seattle, but the locations are well worth the trip. Another popular spot up this way is Artist’s Point. I haven’t had a chance to shoot there yet, so if you’re thinking about getting photos up there, please reach out!
