This Euphoria-inspired Seattle boudoir session was such a fun creative change! I don’t have the most experience with in-studio artificial light so I have been making a point to practice more. My friend Kris offered to sit for me so that I could practice working with dual lighting and I LOVE the results.
Not only did Kris look gorgeous in the direct lighting (I mean her tattoo… whaaaaatttt), but she rocked the Jules inspired gems! My goal was to recreate the blue/pink lighting theme that you see all through Euphoria, but I wound up working with an orange/blue lighting setup instead. I think it worked out really well. Especially with her dark red hair.
Halfway through the shoot my colored light died so we wound up working with a direct spotlight for the remainder and I may have liked those photos even more. All in all this shoot got me really excited to work on some of my other Seattle boudoir sessions that I have planned in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for those galleries!
The drive to want to create more studio work pushed me into renting studios in Pioneer Square!
Which leads me to say that I am now offering creative portrait sessions in two GORGEOUS Seattle studios! If boudoir isn’t your thing, let’s look at putting together a branding or fun portrait session. The fun part about studio work is that you’re only as limited as your imagination.
