Botanical Garden Engagement Session at Hillwood Estates
Dave, Melody, and I met at Hillwood Estate, Museums & Gardens for their botanical garden engagement session in Washington, DC. It was everything I had dreamed of. I had wanted to shoot in a greenhouse for a while. When Dave and Melody told me about Hillwood, I was thrilled. Green is my favorite color, so I felt at home in a building filled with plants.
After exploring the grounds, we decided to go for a cup of coffee at La Colombe. Their oat chai latte on tap is life-changing. I probably could have drunk three in a row. Right next to the coffee shop, there was this LOVE wall. I had always wanted to shoot there but never had the chance before. It was kismet and definitely added a nice pop of color to our session.
