Gold Creek Pond, located in the beautiful Snoqualmie Pass in Washington, is a breathtaking spot, making it perfect for an engagement photoshoot. The stunning scenery, surrounded by lush forests and a serene pond, makes for a gorgeous romantic backdrop. This Gold Creek Pond Engagement session certainly was one to remember!

We started the shoot on a somewhat cloudy day, which was a blessing in disguise. The moody, cloudy lighting made the atmosphere even more romantic, while the couple’s chemistry was palpable from the get-go. They arrived with a bottle of champagne, which they popped and shared as we began the engagement session. It was beautiful and intimate, and I could tell we were creating something truly special.

We walked around the pond, capturing photos from different angles and taking in the breathtaking views. They were natural in front of the camera, and their love for each other was evident in every shot. During our session, we got to know each other better, which helped us create more authentic, genuine photos.

After a while, we returned to their car, where they changed into their second outfits. I was excited to capture more photos with a moodier vibe in their new, darker outfits.

As the day turned to evening, we finished the shoot. It was around the blue hour. There wasn’t much light left in the sky, but we still captured some beautiful portraits with what light we had. These portraits are truly romantic, markedly every photo captures the chemistry and love shared between the two.

Overall, this engagement session at Gold Creek Pond was a dreamy and unforgettable experience. The location was breathtaking, and the couple was a joy to work with. I cannot wait for their wedding this summer. Soon, I will be capturing more beautiful moments for them to cherish forever.
